About this project

This is a Program of Activities (PoA) proposed under the Gold Standard Mechanism, an initiative promoted and to be implemented by WeAct Pty Ltd, in Madagascar. The primary goal of this PoA is to distribute efficient improved cooking stoves (ICS) to rural households in Madagascar; also in urban & per-urban areas depending on the baseline condition and need of the community. This initiative primarily aims to reduce firewood consumption, thereby mitigating climate change in a sustainable manner while addressing to a range of sustainable development actions for the communities. Currently the PoA is under development stage with an identified real case VPA which is yet to be started. Therefore, this Programme and the VPAs are proposed and yet to be started or implemented.
