For organisations that need to download data and work with Atlas at a larger scale. Here is exactly what each level gives you, and how to ask for it.

How it works

  1. Create an account (about two minutes) if you do not have one.
  2. Send the request. Tell us about your institution, why you need access and how you will use Atlas.
  3. The Atlas team reviews it. A request from an institutional e-mail address is normally decided faster.
  4. You get a decision. You will see it at the top of the page when you sign in, and by e-mail. If we need more information we will say what.

In short

  • Download data and print reports. Every dataset as CSV (tables) or GeoJSON (map layers), with a ready-made citation, and reports you can print or save as PDF. Every download is logged.
  • Four times the AI analyst allowance. Up to 120 questions an hour instead of 30.
  • Priority country requests. When you ask for data for a country that is not loaded yet, your request is marked as coming from an institution, and the Atlas team sees which institution asked.
  • Your institution on record. Your account is recognised as an institutional admin for the organisation you name.
  • Reviewed by the Atlas team. A person reads your request and replies with a decision, or asks for more information.
Already included with any account: the map, all datasets and their provenance, the AI analyst, Scenario Lab, Mangrove Change and reports to read on screen. Downloads, raw data and PDF are for institutional administrators.
Planned, not available yet: API access and team seats. Ticking them in the request form tells us they matter to you.
