DATA GUIDE
For communities and NGOs
Show decision-makers what is at stake, track change and request data for your area.
- Make the case. Open the country report and the Change page to show trend and loss (institutional administrators can print or save them as PDF).
- See your coast. Use the map and the village layer to see how close mangrove and settlements are.
- Track restoration. Compare your site with the restoration module and NDVI protection zones.
- Ask in plain language. The analyst answers questions about area, change and carbon.
- Ask for your area. If your country or landscape is not loaded, use Request data; institutions can also request institutional access.
- Share back. Field observations can improve the maps; contact the Atlas team about submitting data.
Remember that satellite maps are a starting point: local knowledge corrects them.
