Restricted data (administrators)
Layers with personal details or protected-species records are captured but visible only to the super admin.
What is restricted. When WWF Kenya Sources was reviewed, layers were flagged when they had fields that look like personal data (names, phone numbers, e-mails), wildlife-enforcement content (anti-poaching, patrol, camera-trap, collar records) or stakeholder-survey responses.
Where it lives. Restricted layers are stored in a separate folder with tighter permissions and marked access = admin_only in the database.
Who sees it. Only the super admin, under ADMIN → Restricted Data, which has sections for Personal data, Wildlife & enforcement and Stakeholder surveys. The analyst never reveals restricted contents, and restricted data is excluded from public maps, downloads, reports and AI answers.
Why capture it at all. So the archive is complete and so authorised staff can use it for monitoring and reporting.
Handling rules. Do not copy personal details outside Atlas, and follow your organisation's data-protection obligations.
