Getting institutional access

Create an account, send the request form, and receive a decision on screen and by e-mail.

Beginner 1 min read accessdownloadsinstitutions

Steps

  1. Create an account and sign in.
  2. Open Account → Request Institutional Access and fill in the three parts: your institution, why you need access and how you will use Atlas, and what you need.
  3. A person on the Atlas team reviews it; a request from an institutional e-mail address is usually decided faster.
  4. You see the decision at the top of any page for 14 days, and by e-mail once mail is configured. It may ask for more information.

What you get: CSV and GeoJSON downloads, 120 analyst questions an hour (instead of 30), priority marking on country requests, and your institution recorded on your account. API access and team seats are planned.

If approved, a Withdraw action exists for the administrator if circumstances change.
